Our Environmental Mission
The Professional Association for China’s Environment is a global network of professionals who are committed to improving the quality of life of people and the environment in China. It is our belief that China on a path of green development is the greatest contribution to the global sustainability.
PACE provides a platform of information and idea exchanges for its members that strengthen the efforts and initiatives on the ground and mobilize more resources to target the driving forces of change in both policy and practice. So, PACE will continue to grow. It’s a gift to future generation of movers and shakers.
PACE also takes actions to make the needed positive changes in policy and practice for China to embark on a green development path, through:
carrying out independent, objective and balanced analyses and research;
building up consensus and capacity of the key stakeholders on the basis of effective private-public partnership;
applying strategically the instrument of information to empower the civil society to actively participate in decision-making processes; and,
advocating the best policies and practices for sustainable consumption and production. Any professional can make the commitments and become a member, making his or her support for China and the Chinese people to shift away from the traditional path of growth towards a new, sustainable paradigm of development.
